dc.descriptionThis study highlights the need to adapt traditional teaching methodologies to address the specific needs of children with mild intellectual disabilities when learning to read and write. It is recognized that these students require more individualized approaches and the use of specific teaching resources that facilitate their academic development. Furthermore, the importance of creating inclusive learning environments that promote active participation and the comprehensive development of students is emphasized. The overall objective of the research was to measure the effect of adapted teaching strategies on improving reading and writing instruction in children with intellectual disabilities at the primary level of the C.E.B.G. Virgen de Guadalupe, Las Garzas. In addition, the study highlights the importance of ongoing training for educators in specialized education strategies and the need to encourage collaboration with families to ensure consistent and effective educational intervention. The resulting data show a clear improvement in students' reading and writing skills after using improved teaching methods for reading and writing in children with intellectual disabilities.
dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio resalta la necesidad de adaptar las metodologías tradicionales de enseñanza para atender las particularidades de aprender a leer y escribir de los niños con deficiencia intelectual leve. Se reconoce que estos estudiantes requieren enfoques más individualizados y el uso de recursos didácticos específicos que faciliten su desarrollo académico. Asimismo, se enfatiza la importancia de crear ambientes de aprendizaje inclusivos que promuevan la participación y el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes. La investigación tuvo como objetivo general medir el efecto de las estrategias didácticas adaptadas en la mejora de la instrucción de la lectura y escritura en niños con deficiencia intelectual en el nivel primario del C.E.B.G. Virgen de Guadalupe, Las Garzas. Además, el estudio subraya la relevancia de la formación continua de los educadores en estrategias de educación especializada y la necesidad de fomentar la colaboración con las familias para garantizar una intervención educativa coherente y efectiva. Los datos resultantes muestran una mejora clara en las competencias de lectura y escritura de los alumnos tras la utilización mejora del mecanismo de enseñar a leer y escribir en niños con deficiencia intelectual.
