| dc.description | The project below aisms to implement a Reading Space based on the Montessori method to improve Language development in children aged 4 to 6 years at the Juan Díaz School, Antón. This proposal arises as a response to the need to strengthen the reading habit and stimulate oral expresion in the preschool stage, taking advantage of a critical period in linguistic develoment. The Montessori metodology promotes autonomy, active learning, and respect for each child’s individual rhythm, within a structured environment with specific sensory and didactic materials. The proposed reading space will be attractive, welcoming, and motivanting. It will include illustrated stories, recreational activities such as dramatizations, storytelling, role-playing games, and a book lending system adapted to their age. The Project duration will be seven monts, including planning, space design, teacher training, execution of activities, and continuous evaluation of the impact on the children. The expected results include a significant improvement in reading comprehension, vocabulary, verbal fluency, and a love for reading. This project represents a pedagogical alternative against the excessive use of electronic devices in childhood, promoting significant, emotionally enriching, and child-centered learning. Furthermore, it encourages the active participation of teachers and families, strengthening the school-home bond. This comprehensive approach contributes to the cognitive, communicative, emotional, and social development of children, laying a solid foundation for future learning. | |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad implementar un espacio de lectura basado en el método Montessori para favorecer el desarrollo del lenguaje en niños de 4 a 6 años en la Escuela Juan Díaz, Antón. Esta propuesta surge como respuesta a la necesidad de fortalecer el hábito lector y estimular la expresión oral en la etapa preescolar, aprovechando un periodo crítico en el desarrollo lingüístico. La metodología Montessori promueve la autonomía, el aprendizaje activo y el respeto por el ritmo individual de cada niño, mediante un entorno estructurado con materiales sensoriales y didácticos específicos. El espacio de lectura propuesto será interactivo, acogedor y motivador. Incluirá cuentos ilustrados, actividades lúdicas como dramatizaciones, cuentacuentos, juegos de roles y un sistema de préstamo de libros adaptado a su edad. La duración del proyecto será de siete meses, incluyendo planificación, diseño del espacio, capacitación docente, ejecución de actividades y evaluación continua del impacto en los niños. Los resultados esperados incluyen una mejora significativa en la comprensión lectora, el vocabulario, la fluidez verbal y el gusto por la lectura. Este proyecto representa una alternativa pedagógica frente al uso excesivo de dispositivos electrónicos en la infancia, promoviendo un aprendizaje significativo, emocionalmente enriquecedor y centrado en el niño. Además, fomenta la participación activa de docentes y familias, fortaleciendo el vínculo escuela-hogar.
