dc.description	This study is aimed at knowing the effectiveness of the investigation procedures to discover the crime of livestock theft in Alanje, Chiriquí province. The specific objectives were: to identify what are the procedures that are carried out to discover the crime of livestock theft in Alanje and to discover what is the modus operandi of criminals to commit the crime of livestock theft in this district. The methodology used was a non-experimental quantitative design with a corrective and explanatory descriptive scope. The sample was non-probabilistic of an intentional type due to the fact that surveys were carried out aimed at residents of Alanje, who met the characteristics requested in the study. The instrument used was an open question survey questionnaire. The results show in accordance with this investigation that currently the investigation procedures applied to the crimes of livestock theft in the District of Alanje are effective. Likewise, it is observed that the criminal and judicial investigation procedures are adapted to the conditions in which livestock theft generally occurs, which allows the recovery of stolen cattle or the location of those responsible, also identifying the modus operandi of these criminals.
dc.description.abstract	Este estudio está dirigido a conocer la eficacia de los procedimientos de investigación para descubrir el delito de hurto pecuario en Alanje, provincia de Chiriquí. Los objetivos específicos fueron: identificar cuáles son los procedimientos que se llevan a cabo para descubrir el delito de hurto pecuario en Alanje y descubrir cuál es el modus operandi de los delincuentes para cometer el delito de hurto pecuario en este distrito. La metodología utilizada fue un diseño cuantitativo no experimental de alcance descriptivo correccional y explicativo. La muestra fue no probabilística de tipo intencional debido a que se realizaron encuestas dirigidas a moradores de Alanje, que cumplían con las características solicitadas en el estudio. El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario de encuesta de preguntas abiertas. Los resultados muestran de acuerdo con esta investigación que actualmente los procedimientos de investigación aplicados a los delitos de hurto pecuario en el Distrito de Alanje son eficaces. Así mismo se observa que los procedimientos de investigación criminal y judicial se adaptan a las condiciones en que generalmente se presenta el hurto pecuario por lo que permite recuperar el ganado hurtado o ubicar a los responsables, identificando también el modus operandi de estos delincuentes.	en_US
