| dc.description | The present investigation focuses on penitentiary security in the Public Prison of Santiago, where the procedures that are followed there are evaluated and see their effectiveness. For this, this research focuses on a quantitative methodology of a descriptive, non-experimental type, since it does not influence the behavior of the sample, it is cross-sectional, given that it is carried out in a limited time in the months of August to December. of 2022. Two evaluation instruments are applied, a survey with categorized questions to 19 custodians and an evaluation scale to 12 deprived of liberty, from which it is concluded that the deficiencies in terms of prison security and the lack of a structured plan are evident. to improve this process, the lack of training for staff, overcrowding, deficiencies in the physical structure, lack of control and requirements that are necessary to avoid lack of control in said center. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se enfoca en seguridad penitenciaria en la Cárcel Pública de Santiago, en donde se valoran y evalúan los procedimientos que allí se siguen y ver su eficacia. Para ello se esta investigación se enfoca en una metodología cuantitativa de tipo descriptiva, no experimental, ya que no influye en el comportamiento de la muestra, es de corte transversal, dado a que se realiza en un tiempo delimitado en los meses de agosto a diciembre del 2022. Se aplica dos instrumentos de evaluación una encuesta con preguntas categorizadas a 19 custodios y una escala de evaluación a 12 privados de libertad, de ello se concluye la evidente las carencias en cuanto a seguridad penitenciaria y a un plan estructurado para ir mejorando este proceso, la falta de capacitación al personal, el hacinamiento, deficiencias en la estructura física, falta de control y requisas que son necesarias para evitar el descontrol. | en_US |
