dc.descriptionThe main objective of this thesis is to identify the influence of multisensory stimulation on the psychomotor development of children aged 4-5 years in the early stimulation program. This research was carried out through a mixed approach, with a quasi-experimental research design where it is intended to study the population before and after the intervention, developing with a longitudinal study because the data is analyzed and collected at different times determined by the intervention where different techniques were applied based on the needs of the students. Among the results, the influence of stimulation on psychomotor development is evident, demonstrating the use and effectiveness of a multisensory stimulation room in addition to the application of conventional occupational therapy focused on multisensory stimulation, which contributes to improvements in the integral development of children, favoring their senses and areas of development, achieving adaptive behaviors with them and favoring their learning process and autonomy in their daily lives.
dc.description.abstractLa presente tesis tiene como objetivo principal identificar la influencia de la estimulación multisensorial en el desarrollo psicomotor de niños en edades de 4 5 años en el programa de estimulación precoz. Esta investigación se realizó por medio de un enfoque mixto, con un diseño de investigación cuasiexperimental, donde se pretende estudiar la población antes y después de la intervención, desarrollándose con un estudio longitudinal debido a que se analizan y recolectan los datos en distintos tiempos determinados de la intervención, en donde se aplicaron diversas técnicas en base a las necesidades de los estudiantes. Dentro de los resultados, se evidencia la influencia de la estimulación en el desarrollo psicomotor demostrando el uso y la eficacia de una sala de estimulación multisensorial, además la aplicación de terapia ocupacional convencional enfocada en la estimulación multisensorial, lo cual contribuye en mejoras para el desarrollo integral de los niños, favoreciendo sus sentidos y áreas de desarrollo, logrando con ellos conductas adaptativas y favoreciendo su proceso de aprendizaje y autonomía en su diario vivir.
