Abstract
Esta investigación hace referencia a la discapacidad intelectual leve que se
presenta en los estudiantes y aporta una mejor compresión sobre los aspectos
que se generen en el incremento de las habilidades cognitivas. Es por eso que,
surge la preocupación y la necesidad de investigar las estrategias de aprendizaje
efectiva para incrementar las habilidades cognitivas en estos estudiantes. De
acuerdo a las variables independiente y dependiente surgen los objetivos de la
investigación cuyo objetivo principal es: Analizar la efectividad que tienen las
estrategias de aprendizaje en el incremento de habilidades cognitivas en
estudiantes con discapacidad intelectual leve del Colegio Secundario de Volcán.
Los objetivos específicos son establecer los tipos de estrategias de aprendizaje
utilizadas por los estudiantes con discapacidad intelectual leve del Colegio
Secundario de Volcán para incrementar las habilidades cognitivas; detectar los
beneficios que aportan las estrategias de aprendizaje en el incremento de las
habilidades cognitivas; identificar las evidencias de las estrategias de aprendizaje
en el incremento habilidades cognitivas aplicable para los estudiantes con
discapacidad intelectual. Es una investigación de tipo mixta porque se llevó a
cabo una encuesta a docentes, y una lista de cotejo de intervención de aplicación
de las estrategias de aprendizajes a los alumnos, las mismas permitieron el
análisis de resultados que dio una veracidad a la hipótesis planteada y se conoció
que los tipos de estrategias de aprendizaje utilizados con estos estudiantes más
asertivos para su funcionamiento cognitivos son los mapas mentales y
conceptuales, resúmenes, analogías, motivación y planificación.
This research refers to the mild intellectual disability that occurs in students and provides a better understanding of the aspects that are generated in the increase of cognitive abilities. That is why the concern arises and the need to investigate effective learning strategies to increase cognitive skills in these students. According to the independent and dependent variables, the objectives of the research arise, whose main objective is: To analyze the effectiveness of learning strategies in increasing cognitive abilities in students with mild intellectual disabilities from the Volcán Secondary School. The specific objectives are to establish the types of learning strategies used by students with mild intellectual disabilities at the Volcán High School to increase cognitive skills; detect the benefits provided by learning strategies in increasing cognitive abilities; identify evidence of learning strategies in increasing cognitive skills applicable to students with intellectual disabilities. It is a mixed-type investigation because a survey of teachers was carried out, and a checklist of intervention for the application of learning strategies to students, they allowed the analysis of results that gave a veracity to the hypothesis raised and it was known that the types of learning strategies used with these more assertive students for their cognitive functioning are mental and conceptual maps, summaries, analogies, motivation and planning.
