| dc.description | The research is aimed at evaluating the academic competencies and scientific knowledge in forensic science that the students of the bachelor’s degree in criminal investigation and security have of the IV year of the specialized university of the americas Udelas headquarters of Chiriquì for this learning techniques will be determined. That student criminal investigations have in terms of forensic science and exhumation of corpses during their academic preparation. The types of cientific knowledge that students possess in the criminal field in its different aspects and forms at the time of clarifying fact will be established. And apply the investigation techniques of natural sciences in the examination of sensitive and significant material related to a criminal act. In this way, an investigation based on academic competencies associated whit the knowledge of student’s criminal investigator. The metodology has a cross- sectional non- experimental descriptive scope, this result hopes to compare the requirements of these academic competencies and skills in forensic áreas, to integrate them into the academic knowledge in phases, for development of the labor field of Criminal Investigation and Security students. | dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación se dirige a evaluar las competencias académicas y el conocimiento científico en ciencias forenses. Para ello, se determinó las técnicas de aprendizaje que tienen los estudiantes investigadores criminales, en cuanto a ciencias forenses, y exhumación de cadáveres, durante su preparación académica. Se establecieron los conocimientos científicos que poseen los estudiantes para realizar sus investigaciones en el campo forense y la aplicación de técnicas de estudios en el campo criminológico, en sus diferentes aspectos y formas a la hora de esclarecer un hecho, y aplicar los conocimientos en una escena criminal. De este modo, se origina una investigación basada en competencias académicas asociadas al conocimiento de los estudiantes investigadores criminales. La metodología tiene un diseño no experimental transversal, un tipo de estudio descriptivo. La población que se utilizó fue de 25 estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Investigación Criminal de IV año de UDELAS. El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario de encuesta con 16 Ítems. Como resultado, se hizo una comparación de los requerimientos de estas competencias académicas y habilidades en las áreas forenses para integrarlas a los conocimientos académicos en fases, para el desarrollo de estas en el campo laboral. encontrándose que los estudiantes poseen pocas competencias académicas en cuanto a la aplicación de métodos y técnicas precisas relacionadas con las ciencias forenses y que las ciencias forenses son indispensables en la parte docente de la licenciatura en Investigación Criminal y Seguridad de la Universidad Especializada de las Américas. | en_US |
