| dc.description.sponsorship | The work consisted in creating a program to help the students who have sorne difficulty in mathematics. The name of the program is Psychopedagogic Intervention Program to overcome the failure in mathematics. It was created for the third grade students at Don Bosco Technical Institute, especially for those students who had failure in the third term. The purpose of the program was to give the students an innovating form of learning with an interactive, dynamic methodology as well as strategies and tools based in games and activities that let the students work in the classroom, participate in class, and show interest in the learning of mathematics. The Psychopedagogic Intervention Program is divided into three parts that keep sequence and coherence. It begins with logical thought, then basic operations, and finally problem resolution. This program has forty-four activities and is written in an appropriate language for the students in this level. It uses situations of the student environment to make the work easier. It was worked during fifteen days with two hours per day. The program application was useful for improving the students' grades and overcoming the failure in the fourth term. 66,6% of the students reached the objective. | |
