dc.description	This investigation is focused on "Forensic photography and its application to fix the place of the events in homicide" where it will be analyzed whether the application of forensic photography as evidence in the place of a homicide event is effective, being one of the main concurrent crimes in our country. A specialist from the branch will also be interviewed to obtain results and survey 5 Forensic Photography Experts in Chiriquí for the instrument. An experimental design was used as it was a specialty subject and was one of the main fixation techniques used by criminalistics, being the place of the vital event for the identification of evidence. The results of this investigation showed that forensic photography is extremely important for the fixation of the crime, especially in cases of homicide and of great value in a trial. In addition, the importance of protecting the place is reaffirmed so as not to hinder the investigation, proving that this forensic photography activity is necessary in the investigation, especially in cases of homicide. It was also known that the experts do not have much knowledge regarding the laws that regulate this activity, despite the fact that they do it frequently.
dc.description.abstract	Esta investigación está enfocada en “Fotografía forense y su aplicación para la fijar el lugar de los hechos en homicidio” en donde se analizará si es efectiva la aplicación de la fotografía forense como evidencia en el lugar de un hecho de homicidio, siendo uno de los principales delitos concurrentes en Panamá. Se utilizó un diseño experimental por tratarse de un tema de especialidad y ser uno de las principales técnicas de fijación utilizadas por criminalística, ya que el lugar del hecho es vital para la identificación de elementos probatorios. Se entrevistó a un especialista de la rama para la obtención de resultados y encuesta a cinco peritos de Fotografía Forense en Chiriquí. Los resultados producto de esta investigación demostraron que la fotografía forense es sumamente importante para la fijación del delito, sobre todo en casos de homicidio y de mucho valor en un juicio. Además, se reafirma la importancia de la protección del lugar para no entorpecer la investigación, comprobándose que es necesaria esta actividad de fotografía forense en la investigación sobre todo, en casos de homicidio. Se conoció también que los peritos no tienen mucho conocimiento respecto a las leyes que regulan esta actividad, a pesar de que la realizan con frecuencia	en_US
