The study entitled "Effective Sensory Strategies for Developing Psychomotor Skills in Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, preescolar Froebelín" has the general objective of recognizing the effectiveness of sensory strategies for the development of psychomotor skills in students with Autism Spectrum Disorder attending the preescolar Froebelín in Changuinola. Its specific objectives are to identify the psychomotor development difficulties presented by these students and to determine some types of sensory strategies that facilitate the development of psychomotor skills in students with ASD. The methodology employs an action research design, allowing for the analysis of the initial situation, the implementation of a sensory intervention tailored to the students' needs, and the subsequent evaluation of the resulting changes. The study's approach is qualitative, as it explores the characteristics of the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the topic under study. The scope of the work focuses on describing, applying, and evaluating relevant sensory strategies to improve psychomotor skills in a small group of students with ASD. On the other hand, the sample of participants consisted of five students with ASD who attend the Froebelín Early Childhood Development Center (COIF). Data collection instruments included open-ended interviews, checklists, and rating scales. The study results show that the students initially presented difficulties in cognitive, fine motor, and sensory regulation areas; however, after the application of sensory strategies, moderate progress was observed in coordination, balance, functional attention, and participation in structured activities, reflecting the positive impact of the intervention.
