This educational project is focused on strengthening school resilience to fires and emergency situations at the Santiago Adventist Bilingual School, with the main objective being to increase the response capabilities of the educational community through theoretical and practical training on fire prevention, evacuation and basic first aid, encouraging the creation of safer and more prepared environments in emergency situations. The study began with a preliminary evaluation of the institution's current hazards, followed by a diagnostic pretest administered to selected professors and students. Workshops on using fire extinguishers, preventing fires at home and at school, identifying safe spaces and evacuation routes, and providing basic first aid for typical school-related incidents were then put into place. This strategy strengthened the school's preventive culture. The educational community was used as the population, and the participating students and teachers as the sample in a descriptive methodology with a quantitative approach. As evidenced by the posttest results and observations made during the final evacuation practice, which showed better organization and increased confidence in emergency response, the results showed an increase in participants' understanding. The study concludes that continuous training in risk management is essential for ensuring safety and well-being within educational institutions.
