dc.descriptionThis research is entitled: Center Model as a Pre-Employment Alternative for Graduates with Intellectual Disabilities, sought as a general objective to demonstrate the efficiency of the center model for the development of labor competencies of graduates of the Special Vocational School and as specific objectives to determine the components that make up the model; as well as, to determine the pre-employment alternatives, the organisational-operational structures and the components that must be incorporated into a center model; also, to identify the social, educational and community intervention strategies used in the provision of training, technical and social services and support; Detail the competencies required by graduates with intellectual disabilities prior to and at the end of the level of education and training to then verify the compliance of the participants in the pre-labor practice. It has a pre-experimental "pre-test" and "post-test" design. It is a study according to its exploratory, descriptive, correlational and explanatory scope that provides the country with a solution to the problem raised. The population was made up of teachers, technical professionals, graduates of the Special Vocational School with intellectual disabilities and national and international experts in the field. As a result, this center model offered pre employment alternatives as a pre-employment option to labor participation. Therefore, this research constitutes an unprecedented and innovative experience; creates practical scenarios for strengthening users' work skills; the same is based on various approaches to development on disability, as ecological as possible, contemplating other paradigms and dimensional models for the establishment of good practices and successful results.
dc.description.abstractEsta investigación tiene como título: Modelo de Centro como alternativa pre laboral de graduados con discapacidad intelectual, buscó como objetivo general demostrar la eficiencia del modelo de centro para el desarrollo de competencias laborales de graduados de la Escuela Vocacional Especial y como objetivos específicos determinar los componentes que integran al modelo; así como, determinar las alternativas pre laborales, las estructuras organizativas – operativas y los componentes que deben incorporarse a un modelo de centro; también, identificar las estrategias de intervención social, educativa y comunitaria empleadas en la prestación de los servicios y apoyos formativos, técnicos y sociales; detallar las competencias requeridas por graduados con discapacidad intelectual previo y al concluir el nivel de formación y capacitación para luego verificar el cumplimento de los participantes en la práctica pre laboral. Tiene un diseño preexperimental “pretest” y “post test”. Es un estudio según su alcance exploratorio, descriptivo, correlacional y explicativo que aporta al país una solución a la problemática planteada. La población estuvo constituida por docentes, profesionales técnicos, graduados de la Escuela Vocacional Especial con discapacidad intelectual y expertos en la materia, nacionales e internacionales. Como resultado, este modelo de centro ofreció alternativas pre laborales como una opción previa a la participación laboral. Por tanto, esta investigación constituye una experiencia inédita e innovadora; crea escenarios prácticos para el fortalecimiento de las competencias laborales de los usuarios; lo mismo que se fundamenta en diversos enfoques de desarrollo sobre discapacidad, lo más ecológico posible, contemplando otros paradigmas y modelos dimensionales para el establecimiento de buenas prácticas y resultados exitosos.
