| dc.description | The present investigation entitled: "Prevalence of back pain due to the use of computers in students of the degree in physiotherapy, UDELAS, Veraguas, 2020", has as main objective to determine the percentage of students of the degree in physiotherapy who present back pain due to use of computers. This goal was possible by identifying the risk factors to which students are exposed on a daily basis when using computers frequently, prolonged, and excessive. The methodology used in this research has a non-experimental design, with a quantitative approach and a descriptive, cross-sectional type of study. The participating population was students of the degree in physiotherapy, UDELAS, Veraguas; the sample was made up of 34 students of both sexes, covering the first, second, third, and fourth years. The survey technique was used for data collection. . Through the results obtained, it was shown that 100% of the students of the degree in physiotherapy, UDELAS, Veraguas have back pain due to the use of computers, being the lumbar region with 53% the most affected, this mainly due to adopt inappropriate postures while using this equipment. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación titulada: “Prevalencia del dolor de espalda por el uso de computadoras, en estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Fisioterapia, UDELAS, Veraguas, 2020”, tiene como objetivo principal determinar el porcentaje de estudiantes de dicha licenciatura que presentan dolor de espalda por el uso de computadoras. Esto fue posible identificando los factores de riesgo a los que están expuestos día a día los estudiantes al hacer uso de este equipo de manera frecuente, prolongada y excesiva. La metodología utilizada en esta investigación tiene un diseño no experimental, con un enfoque cuantitativo y un tipo de estudio descriptivo, transversal. La población participante fueron los estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Fisioterapia, UDELAS, Veraguas, la muestra estuvo conformada por 34 estudiantes de ambos sexos, abarcando los niveles de primero, segundo, tercero y cuarto año. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de encuesta. A través de los resultados obtenidos, se demostró que el 100% de los estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Fisioterapia, UDELAS, Veraguas presentan dolor de espalda por el uso de computadoras, siendo la región lumbar con un 53% la más afectada, esto principalmente por adoptar posturas inadecuadas durante el uso de este equipo. | en_US |
