dc.description	IT had made an impact in the social, economic, cultural and educative life in all the countries around the world, including Panama. This technologies (IT) had invaded and modified the life styles, regarding to human and labor relationships in the construction of works that are produced by the human thought in our society. This research work establish it main objective in determine the importance of the use of IT in the learning process with mental disability children. It is essential to recognize the didactic value of IT in the practical and educative process of the students of the different levels of the educative national system, and more when it is used in primary schools with students with special necessities. The educative centers of the XXI century are living in a natural universe, their society full of information, and every person, does not matter the age, can handle a device that can catch and process information to solve the problems that they face daily. Hence, the school is obligated to abandon the traditional ways of teaching, leaving IT as non-functional instruments that do not work in the construction process, and significant innovation learnings. The use of IT on inclusive education, under the value of equal educative development, has registered new results in the way of students working as a team, use IT to get information, analyze them for practical workshops, operations and research process. These are actions that are full of motivation, that increase the attitude and the will on the search of new areas of knowledge that beneficiate their formation.
dc.description.abstract	Las tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación han sido de impacto en la vida social, económica, cultural y educativa a nivel de los países del mundo y de Panamá. Estas nuevas tecnologías (TIC) han invadido y modificado los modos de vida, en cuanto a sus relaciones humanas y de trabajo en la construcción importante de obras que produce el pensamiento humano en las sociedades actuales. Este trabajo de investigación sustenta su enfoque u objetivo principal en determinar la importancia del uso de las TIC en los procesos de la enseñanza-aprendizaje en niños con discapacidad intelectual. Es fundamental reconocer el valor didáctico de las TIC en los procesos de la práctica y de la educabilidad de los estudiantes en los diferentes niveles del sistema educativo nacional y, más aún, cuando estas se utilizan en las escuelas básicas con estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales.	en_US
