| dc.description | This study aimed to determine the attitudes of the students who study at the Universidad Especializada de Las Américas on the Azuero campus in 2016 regarding the protection of the environment. The sample is 228 students of both sexes, all of age. The Attitude towards Environmental Protection scale was used (Yarlequé Chocas, 2004). This inquiry is based on a non-experimental descriptive type and is carried out in the context of environmental education. The results showed that most of the students showed an attitude of total agreement to protect the environment. With regard to the components: cognition, behavior and emotion, most of the students of the Universidad Especializada de Las Américas on the Azuero campus showed an attitude that was in complete agreement to protect the environment. The same results were found in terms of age, sex and career. | |
| dc.description.abstract | En este estudio pretendemos determinar las actitudes de los alumnos que estudian en la Universidad Especializada de Las Américas, sede Azuero, en 2016, en torno a la protección del medio ambiente. La muestra es de 228 alumnos de ambos sexos, todos mayores de edad. Se utilizó la escala de Actitud hacia la Protección del Medio Ambiente (Yarlequé Chocas, 2004). Esta indagación se basa en un tipo descriptivo no experimentales y se desarrolla en el contexto de la educación ambiental. Los resultados mostraron que la mayor parte de los alumnos poseen una actitud de total acuerdo para proteger el medio ambiente. Con respecto a los componentes: cognición, comportamiento y emoción, la mayor parte de los estudiantes de la Universidad Especializada de Las Américas, sede Azuero, mostraron una actitud que estuvo, totalmente, de acuerdo en proteger el medio ambiente. Se encontraron los mismos resultados en términos de edad, sexo y carrera. | en_US |
