The present research focused on Behavior Modification in Feeding Habits for Students with Autism in IPHE-Santiago. The study addressed the problem of rigidity and food selectivity in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), seeking to generate applied knowledge to improve their quality of life and comprehensive development. The main objective was to determine the influence of behavioral modification strategies on the improvement of these habits. To this end, a quantitative methodology was used, with a non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional design. The study population was an intentional sample of thirty participants. In conclusion, the thesis validated the initial hypothesis by confirming the positive influence of behavioral strategies in mitigating feeding challenges. It was determined that the biggest success factor is the coordination and consistency in the application of the same strategies in both the home and the school, which reinforces learning and facilitates the generalization of healthy habits. The research indicates that the continuous training of parents and teachers in behavior modification techniques is essential to ensure sustained success in the nutritional and behavioral intervention for students with autism.
