dc.descriptionThe research topic is entitled border insecurity associated with human trafficking, Paso Canoas border, which aims to demonstrate that there is an association between border insecurity and human trafficking, in turn, to identify the factors that influence border insecurity, and to determine the risk factors that influence a person to become a victim of human trafficking.The study has a quantitative approach because its results are based on statistics, according to the type of study it is characterized due to its descriptive and correlational scope because characteristics are described for later measurement of the variables among themselves; transversal because it is carried out in a short time. The population that participates in the survey is based on 67 people to whom a survey questionnaire is applied.With the result of the research it was posible to demonstrate that there is an association between border insecurity and human trafficking. Thus, establishing that the factors that influence border insecurity are: drug trafficking, corruption, organized crime and homicides, and that the risk factors that influence a person to become a victim of human trafficking with the highest percentage are gender violence, lack of employment, low educational level and poverty.
dc.description.abstractEl tema de investigación tiene por título Inseguridad fronteriza asociada al tráfico de migrantes, frontera Paso Canoas, que tiene como propósito demostrar que asociación existe entre la inseguridad fronteriza y el tráfico de migrantes, a su vez, identificar cuáles son los factores que influyen en la inseguridad fronteriza, y determinar los factores de riesgo que influyen para que una persona sea víctima del tráfico de migrantes. El estudio tiene un enfoque cuantitativo porque sus resultados son a base de estadísticas, según el tipo de estudio se caracteriza debido a su alcance descriptivo y correlacional porque se describen características para su posterior medición de las variables entre sí; transversal porque se realiza en un corto tiempo. La población que participa de la encuesta es en base a 67 personas, a los que se le aplico un cuestionario de encuesta. Con el resultado de la investigación permitió demostrar que sí existe asociación entre la inseguridad fronteriza y el tráfico de migrantes. Donde se establece así, que los factores que influyen en la inseguridad fronteriza son: tráfico de drogas, corrupción, crimen organizado y homicidios, y que los factores de riesgo que influyen para que una persona sea víctima del tráfico de migrantes con mayor porcentaje están la violencia de género, falta de empleo, bajo nivel educativo y la pobreza.
