Elaboración del plan de emergencia escolar ante incendio en la Escuela Amaris Duran De Vidal: Los Santos 2025

dc.descriptionThe overall objective of this study was to develop an emergency plan for fire preparedness and response at the Amaris Duran de Vidal School in Los Santos, 2025. The study was conducted with 21 fifth-grade students from the school, who were given a survey to measure their general knowledge of the topics provided. We obtained effective results in terms of understanding the basic principles. Students, teachers, and administrators demonstrated effective knowledge of how to identify a fire, showed good first aid skills, and had a good understanding of fire brigade functions, with a low percentage of people who were unclear about how to apply this knowledge. The project concluded that the community as a whole showed interest in all the topics covered, although some areas still need improvement, such as continuing to maintain first aid practice, improving knowledge and practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and how to respond to an emergency, which in this project refers to a fire within the school. Finally, it is recommended to continue maintaining the protocols and updating them each year, strengthening these practices as they are fundamental knowledge today, keeping the first aid kit visible and always equipped, and continuing to encourage the educational community to put their knowledge into practice with periodic drills.
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo general elaborar un plan de emergencia para la preparación y respuesta a incendio en la Escuela Amaris Duran de Vidal, Los Santos, 2025. El estudio se llevó a cabo con 21 estudiantes de quinto grado del plantel, donde se les aplico una encuesta para así medir sus conocimientos generales de los temas proporcionados. Donde obtuvimos un resultado efectivo en la comprensión de los principios básicos. Estudiantes, docentes y administrativos demostraron efectividad en conocimientos de como identificar un incendio, presentaron un buen manejo en primeros auxilios, buen orden de funciones de brigadas, donde el porcentaje de personas que no quedaron claros en cómo manejar estos conocimientos fueron bajas. El proyecto llego una conclusión que la comunidad en total presento un interés de todos los temas brindado, aún se debe seguir mejorando algunas partes como el seguir manteniendo la práctica de primeros auxilios, mejorar los conocimientos y la práctica de una reanimación cardiopulmonar y su manera de responder ante un siniestro que en este trabajo se habla de un incendio dentro del plantel educativo. Finalmente, se recomienda seguir manteniendo los protocolos y cada año actualizarlos, fortalecer estas practica ya que son conocimientos que son fundamentales hoy en día, contar con el botiquín a la vista y siempre equipado, seguir incentivando a la comunidad educativa a poner en práctica sus conocimientos con simulacros periódicamente.
