dc.description	The objective of this essay is to reflect on why indigenous people of Latin America are demanding the right to have an education with cultural acceptance, their education that takes into account the cultural elements and the history of their people. For indigenous people, the right to transmit traditional knowledge to the next generation is very important as part of the processes of recovery and vindication in difficult moments that Mother Earth lives. Intercultural bilingual education has been an alternative to improve learning and teaching methods, taking the mother tongue as a vehicle for transmitting knowledge and at the same time strengthening identity.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Este ensayo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre el derecho que los pueblos indígenas de América Latina tienen de la educación como pertenencia cultural. Una educación propia que tome en cuenta los elementos culturales y la historia de nuestros pueblos. Para los pueblos indígenas el derecho de transmitir el conocimiento tradicional a la siguiente generación es muy importante, como parte de los procesos de recuperación y reivindicación en momentos difíciles que vive la madre tierra. La educación bilingüe intercultural viene siendo una alternativa para mejorar métodos de aprendizaje y enseñanza tomando la lengua materna como vehículo transmisor de conocimiento y a la vez de fortalecimiento de identidad.	en_US
